Legal Intake Agent
The Legal Intake Agent is the first concrete work item in the Multiplicity archive.
It exists because intake is one of the cleaner surfaces for agent-led intervention in legal workflows. The work is repetitive enough to benefit from automation, but sensitive enough that exception handling and confidence signaling matter immediately.
Why intake
Intake sits upstream of everything else. If the first capture, classification, and routing steps are weak, the rest of the legal workflow inherits ambiguity.
That makes intake a good place to test a stricter execution model:
- structured capture
- triage logic
- explicit escalation paths
- traceable outputs for the human operator
Current status
The agent is being treated as a pilot work item rather than a finished product. It is the beginning of a category for the studio: execution artifacts that can be unpacked through multiple journal entries over time.
